The initial problem with the WordPress website for the property company in Wisconsin its performance, user experience, and content management. The website suffered from slow loading times, negatively impacting user engagement and satisfaction. Also, the existing CMS was cumbersome and limiting with data in four different places due to Wordpress plugin limitations. This made it difficult for the company to efficiently organize and edit website content. These issues were hindering the effectiveness of showcasing property listings and impacting the company's ability to attract and retain customers. The owner made the decision to transfer the website to an Astro & Tailwind-based site with a more optimized performance, improved user experience, and a flexible CMS solution to address these challenges and enhance the overall functionality of the website.
The Solution
I successfully recreated the layout, page elements, and animations, achieving the desired project objectives. The revamped site not only improved page scores but also optimized performance, resulting in a faster and more efficient browsing experience. It effectively showcased property listings while retaining crucial features. To ensure seamless content management, I deployed a flexible and intuitive CMS using Sanity, allowing the client to effortlessly organize and edit website content. The successful transfer has revitalized the website, providing a user-friendly platform that beautifully presents property listings while offering easy content management capabilities.
